We are looking for a BUSINESS PARTNER to join our small but growing team
You will be energetic, results orientated, financially trained with an entrepreneurial mindset and have a keen interest in improving businesses
The role is flexible and part time: 24 hrs min per week, with core hours of 10:00am-2:45pm
Emerson Nash specialises in building and improving businesses. We undertake projects as long-term partners with our clients to improve commercial performance.
We are involved in all areas of a business and work closely with the management team. You are likely to be partnering a small number of clients which will give you great insight into multiple businesses.
Some examples of mini projects we have worked on with our clients:
- Setting product pricing for a retailer;
- Designing/ improving business models;
- Business planning;
- Reviewing production capacity;
- Devising ways to educate and motivate staff;
- Building system infrastructure to facilitate performance tracking;
- Coaching CEOs and CFOs;
- Reviewing stock forecasting& policies to reduce unnecessary stock holdings; &
- Reviewing the profitability and volume levels of a product range to change the mix of products being sold.

Your key skills and attributes:
- a real interest in businesses, finding out how they work & how they can be improved
- strong analytical skills and experience
- an entrepreneurial mindset
- results orientated with excellent problem-solving skills
- very strong people and relationship building skills
- good at communicating to all levels of staff & persuading individuals and groups
- MBA or ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification with 5+ years PQE
- must be a team player, with drive, a hunger to learn and a positive outlook
